Wind Power

HUESKER introduces a new application area

Generating energy from wind power is an important building block for becoming less dependent on fossil fuels. The construction of wind turbines is an important component of the energy turnaround and supports the achievement of climate protection targets. The execution can be a challenge for the planning and executing engineers, especially in terms of stability and resource conservation.

Geotextile solutions from HUESKER ensure sustainable and safe implementation in the construction of access roads, crane positioning and assembly areas. Our outstanding HUESKER solutions are used when earthworks have to be constructed on subsoil with low load-bearing capacity. Here HUESKER uses the finite element method to investigate the complex interrelationships of the high and changing loads on crane footprints. This is a service that offers the project partners added value in addition to individual advice and support on site.

Base reinforcement for heavy construction and transport vehicles

With the expansion of onshore wind turbines and wind farm projects, HUESKER can offer three new application fields and support the energy turnaround.

Storage areas and support pads for heavy components

Reinforcement of crane working plattforms and assembly areas
